This yearly event, held every August, focuses on the “For God and For Country” and the proceeds are donated to support organizations related to that mission.
Past organizations include the Freedom Farm for Vets, Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans, and the Illinois Patriot Guard. Our longest-running contribution has been to the Immanuel Lutheran Church and School Performing Arts program.
The route followed for the Ride is called Chris’ Last Ride and covers over 50 miles of journeying through the countryside and passing several important locations including West Aurora High School, Immanuel Lutheran Church, and River Hills Memorial Cemetery.
The after-ride party includes music, great food from Mission BBQ, and the Illinois Patriot Guard Traveling Wall.
